"God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us." Ephesians 3:20 (MSG)This is a great promise from God.

When I read this verse, I’m reminded that no matter what my circumstance, God is always working.  He is for us and wants us to live abundant lives.  It builds my faith and reminds me how BIG our God is!

Today you may find yourself waiting on a promise from God.  What we do in this place of waiting can either bring us closer to or farther from God.

You have to make the choice.

I encourage you to chase after God during seasons of waiting.  We have the choice to believe and stand on His promises, or to worry and allow ourselves to give into the lies of the enemy.

Our seasons of waiting can be great times of strengthening and growth!  Worship God through these seasons because He is always good!  Worship Him because you know that He is on your side.  He is making a way for you even as you read this!

Seek Him and He will answer you.

Do Not Be Afraid

Joshua 1:5 & 9 says, No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you! This is my command - Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go!

Here Joshua is getting ready to lead many people into a new land and conquer it! God gives him all the instructions he needs and says,”Be strong and courageous! I will not fail you.” What an incredible promise! I am so thankful for this promise! Everyday we face challenges ranging from finances, moral issues, people, balancing life and work…and the list goes on. But here’s the good news, God says don’t be afraid or discouraged because He is with us wherever we go! So we have the choice - Do we face our challenges with the “it is what it is” mentality, or do we face our challenges head on knowing God will not fail us or abandon us? We have to make the choice! So today, be strong and courageous! God is with you!

Check out the new song we are doing this month!

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.
